The Dept. of MCA in association with its student club “init” celebrated Pi-day on 14th March 2019. The objective of the event was to congregate the Raspberry Pi programmers & enthusiasts, to take part in various competitions and idea sharing sessions.

Six events were conducted under the banner “Pi-DEA 2019” viz., Pi-Quiz, Pi-Puzzle, Pi-Paint, Pi-Code, Pi-Game and Show-Pi. Students from different colleges across Bangalore had participated in large numbers and winners won Amazon Gift Vouchers worth ₹3000 along with goodies from Decathlon and PES University.

The main highlight of the event was Pi-quiz which was an online event that attracted many students worldwide. The “init” club of MCA Dept. has now collaborated with the official Raspberry Pi clubs-“Code-Club”& “CoderDojo” through this PiDEA event.

At the end of the day the students expressed their inclination towards inclusion of Raspberry Pi in their daily activities of fun and learning.
